1. Who we are

AffiliateRanked (we, us, our) operates the editorial comparison site at affiliateranked.com. We are an independent editorial brand — we are not a software vendor, an operator, a casino, a sportsbook or an affiliate network. We publish rankings, reviews and head-to-head comparisons of iGaming affiliate tracking platforms.

2. What we collect

We deliberately keep data collection minimal. Specifically:

• No accounts. The site has no user registration, login, comments or personal profiles. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, address, payment details or any other directly identifying information.
• Server access logs. Our hosting provider records standard web-server logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page, user-agent string. These are kept for short-term security and abuse-detection purposes only and are not used to identify individual visitors.
• Email correspondence. If you email us, we retain the contents of that email to respond and for follow-up. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not share your email with third parties.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not set tracking, advertising or marketing cookies. We do not use cross-site retargeting. We do not run advertising on the site.

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which pages perform well editorially. Where used, analytics is configured to anonymise IP addresses, respects the browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals, and does not write identifying cookies to your device.

External services we link to — operator websites, third-party platforms — set their own cookies once you arrive there. Their cookie practices are governed by their own policies, not ours.

4. How we use the data we do collect

The minimal data we hold is used only for:

• Operating, securing and improving the site.
• Responding to messages you send us.
• Understanding aggregate, non-personal usage trends (which articles attract readers, broken links, performance issues).
• Complying with applicable law and lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell, rent, license or otherwise commercialise your personal data. There is no such data to commercialise.

5. Third parties and outbound links

The site contains outbound links to operator websites and third-party platforms. Some of these links are commercial affiliate links — meaning if you click through and complete an action (typically registration or deposit), the operator may pay us a referral fee. This is disclosed prominently in the footer of every page and noted in individual reviews where relevant.

Commercial relationships do not influence rankings or editorial content. Scoring is based on the published methodology; commercial arrangements are separate.

Once you click an outbound link, you are on a third party's site under their privacy practices, cookies and terms. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the data practices of third parties.

6. Your rights

Even though we hold very little data, you retain rights over what we do hold. Under UK GDPR and equivalent regulations, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify — request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase — request deletion of any personal data we hold (subject to legal retention obligations).
• Restrict — request we limit how we use it.
• Object — object to specific processing.
• Withdraw consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent.
• Complain — lodge a complaint with a relevant supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk).

7. How long we keep data

• Server access logs: typically 30 days, longer if needed for active security investigations.
• Email correspondence: retained for as long as the topic remains relevant or as required by law, then deleted on request.
• Anonymous analytics: aggregated indefinitely; individual visit data, where collected, expires within 12 months.

8. Children and under-18s

AffiliateRanked writes about products used by iGaming operators. The audience is professionals, operators and affiliate managers — not players, and certainly not minors. The site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact contact@affiliateranked.com and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

The site is hosted in Europe. Email correspondence is processed using providers that may store data inside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, under standard contractual clauses where applicable.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage or via a timestamped note here.
